Life Skills Instructor
The Life Skills Instructor works within the 24-Hour Residential Program and promotes an environment where teaching occurs at all times. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and assuring their physical and personal well being. This may include addressing medical and other concerns and ensuring efficient communication regarding issues and action taken. The Life Skills Instructor is also responsible for implementing individual training and social goals for residents, as directed, and actively implement their behavioral support plans at all times. Life Skills Instructors would also be required to maintain the homes by assuring that they are clean and safe.
Educational Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 18+ years of age
• Valid Oregon Driver's License and insurable by agency carrier
• Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Oregon Intervention Systems (OIS) helpful but will be provided by employer
• Must pass criminal history background check
